#NOWPLAYING: November

I’ve got a short and sweet playlist/blog post combo this month, because it’s the end of the semester and I am slowly being crushed under the weight of my procrastination.

As always, you can find this month’s playlist on Spotify, and my commentary below.

The Cure - Little Mix

This was the last track of Little Mix’s new album LM5 (which is great, by the way), but I thought I’d start the playlist with it because it’s so encouraging. Yeah, the lyrics are a little cheesy, but “The Cure” honestly makes me feel like things are going to be okay.

Sue Me - Sabrina Carpenter

Sassy and catchy and fun. This song single-handedly turned me into a huge fan of Sabrina.

come out and play - Billie Eilish

“come out and play” is one of those songs you want to listen to on repeat while snuggled under a blanket, sipping hot chocolate, and watching the snow fall softly outside.

After the Storm - Mumford and Sons

There will come a time, you’ll see, with no more tears
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

November was probably the craziest month of my life—I’m so excited to see what the future holds! If I survive the end of the semester, I’ll see you next month for…well, I’m not sure yet. I should probably do something special to celebrate a year of playlists, right? I’ll figure it out.

Missing my novel-length explanations on why I chose each song? My April playlist (or any of my previous playlists, to be honest) can help you with that.
